Recently, I was thinking about how my life has had some serious twists and turns in the road. I would never have been able to predict that I would find myself in this situation.

I don’t know about you, but in my life there have been several extremely difficult situations where I needed a safe person to talk to... just because there was too much at stake.

Let’s be honest. Life can be hard! In fact, it can be extremely difficult. But nothing is as difficult as trying to do it alone! In fact, it is my experience that the harder life gets, the I need others and the more I need well developed skills and strategies.

I must admit though, my ego resisted me on every front and it did take a little bit of courage to call and connect with a therapist. But when I did I felt so safe, so loved, so challenged and yet so empowered.

I have never regretted making that first call!
