Carly Smith, OACYC

Child and Youth Worker

“High school is the best time of your life.” At least, that is what people told me. It can be a great time, no doubt but let’s be honest today’s adolescents are faced with many different pressures. There are countless temptations and decisions that, at times, can be very overwhelming.

I believe with proper guidance and coping skills, people can take on and overcome just about anything that life throws at them. It is my life’s passion to work with youth to help them through the crazy (and not always perfect) journey we call adolescence and have them come out the other side, a stronger happier individual.

Carly graduated College with an advanced diploma in Child and Youth Work and is registered with the Province of Ontario. Carly has experience working in a school and group home environment with troubled teens.
